How to Choose Between CK6140 and CK6150 Compact CNC Lathe for Your Workshop

The CK6140 & CK6150 lathes are widely deployed in job shops, maintenance workshops, educational training labs and small‑batch component subcontracting. They handle shaft and disc‑part turning tasks including threading, grooving, boring and facing. It is worth noting they are not recommended for continuous heavy‑depth rough cutting; for oversized diameter or heavy stock removal, you should step up to CK6163‑1000.

Model difference at a glance

• CK6140: Entry compact option, smaller swing over bed, best suited for small‑size parts, prototype work and repair tasks.
• CK6150: Mid‑size compact variant with bigger swing capacity and stronger spindle power. It can process larger blanks and cope with moderately heavier cutting compared with CK6140.

Both models support configuration customization to match your on‑site operator resources.

Turret upgrade options: Standard vertical 4‑station turret can be upgraded to 6‑station, 8‑station or 12‑station turret. 8‑station or 12‑station turrets are more worthwhile if you frequently run multi‑tool complex components with frequent program change‑overs.

CNC system selection: Syntec, GSK, Siemens and Fanuc are all available. If your workshop operators are already familiar with a certain brand interface, selecting the same controller will greatly lower training costs.

Optional accessories also cover hydraulic chuck and hydraulic tailstock, helping reduce manual clamping time for high‑volume repeated orders. Manual 3‑jaw chuck belongs to standard supply.
